PokeWalk Terms of Use
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and the PokeWalk developer. By downloading or using PokeWalk you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The app is licensed to you, not sold. The license is Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), which is part of these terms. If these terms and the Standard EULA conflict, the Standard EULA controls the license to the app.
2. Accounts
You can play without an account. If you create one, give accurate information, use it for one person only and keep your sign-in methods secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Usernames
Do not choose a username that is offensive, hateful or misleading, or that impersonates another person or organization. PokeWalk may change or reclaim a username that breaks this rule.
4. Virtual items and resources
Pets, items and resources such as gold, wood and stone, along with EXP, are part of the game. They have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and are not property you own. We may adjust game balance and content in updates.
5. PokeWalk Unlimited
PokeWalk Unlimited is a one-time purchase made through Apple. It removes the free daily limit. Payment, receipts and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms, and Family Sharing applies if you have turned it on for the purchase. If you are signed in, the purchase is linked to your account so that you can restore it.
6. The free daily limit
The free version limits how much walking distance counts each day. The limit and how it works may be adjusted in updates, and it does not apply once you own PokeWalk Unlimited.
7. Safety
PokeWalk is a game, not a medical device, and gives no health or fitness advice. Stay aware of your surroundings while you walk, never look at your phone while crossing a road, and check with a doctor before changing how much you exercise.
8. Acceptable use
Do not cheat, use automation or fake walking data, tamper with the app or our servers, try to get around the limits or security measures, or abuse other players. We may limit or end access for anyone who does.
9. Cloud save
Cloud save is provided with reasonable care but is not guaranteed. Keep in mind that data may be lost or unavailable, and that a restore may replace progress on a device.
10. Termination
You can stop using PokeWalk and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue to apply (for example disclaimers and limits on liability) survive termination.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
PokeWalk is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost progress or virtual items, and total liability to you will not be more than the amount you paid for PokeWalk in the twelve months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date. If you keep using PokeWalk after that date, you accept the update.
